One of our members wins national award!!

Micki Ostrosky, an IDEC member and currently the IDEC Treasurer, has received the DEC 2007 Merle B. Karnes Service to the Division Award. This award is given to a DEC member who has made a significant contribution to DEC in the areas of leadership, service, research, advocacy, or publications. The award is given in honor of Dr. Merle Karnes who served DEC for many years as a member of the Executive Board and as the founder and first editor of the Journal for Early Intervention. It’s a wonderful accomplishment, and IDEC is very proud to have Micki as an active member!
